William R. Palmer established the business in 1930. He owned and operated the business until his death in 1968.

The business was started in a garage in Mr. Palmer's mother's backyard. As he became more successful, he moved to his first building, pictured on the previous page. Palmer's Electric has moved a few times over the years, and has been at its present 6000 sq. ft. location since 1945.

Elmer E. Sessa bought the business from the Palmer family in 1971. Elmer started with Bill almost at the beginning, maybe 1931 or so, and stayed through the years.

The current owner, Michael Vigneault, started at Palmer's Electric in 1974, fresh out of Boston College. He started as a customer service rep, and through the years assumed more responsibilities and management duties until he purchased the business in 1998.
